So you want to know something about me?
Okay, here goes. I'm half Cherokee, half crazy. My father was full-blooded Cherokee. My mom is a descendent of the Hatfields (Hatfields vs McCoys for those of you who have heard that bit of history). I was born in Toledo, Ohio and have lived in many northern states. We moved frequently due to my father's work, and I kind of learned not to let myself get close to others growing up because we always had to say good-bye. I have lived in KY since 1970, so I'm a reformed Yankee at this point. I have survived a lot in my years, which helped mold me into the strong-willed woman I am. My childhood sucked, so we'll fast forward past that. I had two abusive marriages, ended up raising two beautiful girls all on my own. After the last car wreck I was in, which put me in Vanderbuilt for over 8 months, I was told I wouldn't walk again by two specialists. I fought hard, struggled and I walk today. I am a 22 year cancer survivor. At one point, while raising my daughters, I was given approximately six months to live and told to get my affairs in order. Words cannot express what I felt and went through, but again my strength, determination and faith (most of all) along with many tears, chemotherapy and prayers proved my doctors wrong. I believe in miracles, needless to say. All of my life experiences could have turned me into an angry, cold, human being, but instead I became stronger, more open-minded and unique. I still don't know what my purpose on this earth is other than to help others every chance I get and bring as many smiles and laughter to everyone I meet. I am a free spirit. I am a very passionate person. I often wear my heart on my sleeve, but that's just me. I have many poems I've written over time. I LOVE LIFE! I now live with my best friend, Fred. We have two border collies, KoKo and Buck, who don't know they are d.o.g.s, so don't tell them. We have a lovely home that sits on 100 acres, so there's lots of privacy. I have many interests. I love the sky at night, so full of stars. It makes you realize how very small we are in the scheme of things. I love flowers and enjoy gardening. Most of all, I enjoy taking pictures, all the time, especially of flowers and animals. A dream of mine is to do photography for a living. How awesome would THAT be? We all need dreams to keep us going! I love music ~ it can change with your mood and it's all good. I think the I-Pod is the neatest invention since the wheel. I can have hundreds of my favorite songs in my Jeep while I'm rolling down the road. How cool is that?! I lost my job five months ago, but I was miserable surrounded by the people I worked with anyway, even to the point of physical illness. I am finally at peace again, months later. I'm where I am supposed to be at this time. I am looking for a another job though. I love helping people and have been in the medical field for 25 years. I hope I can find a job where I can find some self-worth and enjoyment, instead of settling for just anything. Keep me in your prayers and blessings! I hope I haven't bored you to tears or scared you away. I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. Leave me a comment if you want to. I wish you all the very best life has to offer. Don't forget to laugh a lot! Peace and Love, Judi

I think that is one of the things I like best about Kenny's site is that it is such a positive place :) He brings out the best in all of us, I think - My dad loved Big & Rich as well, in fact he asked us to place "Live This Life" at his service - which I did, though I cried and do everytime I hear it since... I am thankful that I am getting to meet great people like you though this site.
I hope you have a great Christmas and New Year as well - I know 2010 is gonna be a great year for us all!!!!!
