Reverend Ken said… - I consider that sign a sign of hate for one very simple reason. The person carrying it had no idea who any of us in the crowd were. A person that would walk around and offer his opnions about how others will spend eternity based upon nothing but a bunch of people being in Key West for Fantasy Fest is not following a religion of Love.
Before you ask how I know about them based upon this sign, I know a little more about them than that. This group is in Key West every year and they are in Miami for New Years Eve every year. I have stood there and listened to them "preach" their brand of hatered for several years.
I am an ordained minister and seeing people like this upsets me greatly. The fact that I disagree with them is not the problem, I disagree with many people and I can get along just fine with them. What I have a problem with is they try to judge people and the only thing they need to know to brand them as bad people is the crowd they happen to be in. It is not up to them to judge me but if they must I would certainly ask that they get to know me first.
My church, The Universal Church of Freedom, Acceptance and Love is for eveyone, stop by sometime and let me know what you think.
